Ardal O'Hanlon returns to London to star in Port Authority, by Conor McPherson.
A young boy leaves home for the first time, a man begins a job for which he is not qualified, a pensioner receives a mysterious package. As each man confronts the significance of these events, they are forced to take stock of themselves, their feelings, and of the decisions they have made. Painting a vivid picture of life in contemporary Dublin, award-winning playwright Conor McPherson (The Weir, The Veil and Dublin Carol) weaves together a moving and funny tale of loves lost and found, the consequences of big dreams and the significance of even our smallest choices.
Port Authority is a play for anyone who has ever chosen the rational over the risky, who has ever drawn away from the possibility of brilliance, being left to wonder what might have been.

William French joins a fantastic cast at the Hampstead Theatre, for his professional theatrical debut. William plays the role of American student Charles Massinger in Richard Nelson's play FAREWELL TO THE THEATRE, directed by Roger Michell.
In the play, Harley Granville Barker, the most influential theatre-maker of his time, finds himself adrift in America during the Great War.
Estranged from the theatre, and with his spirit almost broken by an acrimonious divorce, he seeks refuge in the relative obscurity of a quiet, backwater, Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he finds comfort in the congeniality of his fellow refugees and in the courtesy of strangers - and gradually begins to regain his faith in humanity and his belief in the central role of Theatre in the civilised community.
Richard Nelson’s elegant and passionate new play examines a world full of loss, disenchantment and disillusion – but where Art has the power to heal, to liberate, and to bind us together.
Tickets are available to buy from the Hampstead Theatre website: http://www.hampsteadtheatre.com/page/3032/Farewell+to+the+Theatre/262#-PricesampTimes
